Very intense red color, barely transfomed by its aging in oak, still exhibiting fresh violet hues on the edges. Lots of complexity on the nose, with initial impression of elegant mineral aromas: slate; crushed stones, followed by spices, savoury dark fruit all displayed in a surprisingly delightful manner. Pleasant fine grained tannins adding to the overall elegance.
